What is Tempest?

Tempest is clinically-proven to help people quit drinking. As a self-guided, digital recovery program, it’s easier than ever for your employees to get the support they need to change their relationship with alcohol.

65M adults in the US fit the criteria for excessive drinking, but only 2% receive care.

Workers with alcohol use disorder (AUD):

Miss 5 more days at work per year than those in recovery

Report 56% more employee turnover than those in recovery

Were 3x as likely to report serious psychological distress than those in recovery

Nearly one in four Americans reported drinking to manage pandemic-related stress.

American Psychological Association

Research shows that Tempest works

Our peer-reviewed study by researchers at Syracuse University shows that Tempest helps people reduce binge drinking and drinking days. Best of all, the results are long-lasting. See our results published in the Alcoholism Treatment Quarterly.
